Where I get news

General

For everything you read, watch, listen to and consume: ask yourself--who owns it?

When possible, I prefer non-US, non-commercial and local sources.

Some of these require subscriptions, either free or with introductory deals. But paying for subscriptions is less expensive than dealing with advertising and disinformation.

If this sounds like a lot, I pay for Feedly, which lets me organize news sources. It even lets me create custom email addresses to sign up for online newsletters.

Your suggestions are welcome. Please interact with me on Rail.chat and Bluesky.
